Darn.. it's been a long time

I'm so bad at blogging when I'm at home. Especially now that I have my internship, and I have my sister following me around all the time when I'm at home. It's kinda hard to type while she's sitting on my lap and clicking the mouse whenever she gets the chance. Haha.
If only we had wireless internet here at home. Then at least my brother and I will be able to go online at the same time, at any time we want. Oh well.

Things are good at home. Been pretty busy of late. Since I started my internship in Speechelp - a speech therapy clinic somewhere in Section 14. 9.30am to 5pm every Monday to Thursday is spent there. I learn quite a lot. I am wondering if I will ever be able to open a clinic of my own in the future. I would like to, not going to lie. My dad was talking to me about this the other day. I think he got his inspiration from the clinic that we go to in Aman Suria opened by this one doctor. She owns the clinic and her dad and mum is the receptionist at the place. We both think that that's a rather adorable situation. Haha. So daddy wants to be the receptionist in my clinic one day.. if I ever end up opening a clinic.

Yong and Michiyo came over last week to visit me. Or rather to visit Malaysia, and to spend some time outside of China for a week. I think the air, the heat and the people are sort of getting to them a little. We went to all sorts of places. It was a lot of fun. Day trip to Ipoh with daddy for work.. wasn't all that fun since Ipoh is soo run down. Malacca on Saturday was great fun though. Then of course Kl tower, Klcc, Pasar Seni, Petaling Street, Jalan Imbi, Lowyat Plaza, Berjaya Times Square, One Utama, Bird Park, Butterfly Park, Tugu Negara, Batu Caves, Selangor Pewter Factory... Will post some excellent pictures up later. It really was nice having them around. Reminded me of Beijing. As my mum always says (to annoy me I think): "Yvonne, your Beijing dream is over already!!" Did quite a lot of reminiscing.. and of course Michiyo and I had late night laughs about crap. It was a great 1 week. My parents loved them. My sister loved them. Haha.

Anyway, watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yesterday. Have to say that I am thoroughly dissapointed. Not going to lie. The movie was lacking action scenes. It was all sappy and lovey dovey. Some of the scenes were just plain cheesy and could have been omitted and replaced with a battle scene of some sort. What happened to the battle between the Order and the Death Eaters at Hogwarts? and where was Rufus Scrimgeur? I would think that the new Minister of Magic would have been a pretty important person to feature in this movie. And Percy.. Why wasn't he in the movie? And what happened to Bill's face being bitten by the werewolf Deatheater. And Fleur... where was she? Argh so dissapointing. Laila and I just stared at each other when the movie ended with the line "I never realized it was so beautiful here" and burst out in indignance. Sigh.
