A love so pure.

Have you seen this video? It brings tears to my eyes whenever I watch it. I have not been following American Idol as I religiously do every year. I haven't been following it at all actually. But this is Chris Medina. And he has a story. He proposed to his girlfriend and a few weeks before the wedding, she got into a car accident and became paralyzed. They did not get married, and are still engaged. It's been a couple of years now and she's in the wheelchair, still paralyzed but trying to regain her function. He is still by her side. And this song conveys how he feels about her. Words that he meant to say "I do, In sickness and in Health, till death do us part" but did not get to say... yet still wants to stand by. That is truly something isn't it?

Things didn't go as plan. They could not get married. But he is still by her side. Patiently and lovingly taking care of her. Words that he meant to say when things were going so well.. he still means to say them even though things are not so well now. It's easy to say things that we don't mean when everything is going good for us. But when the going gets tough, that's when it really counts. That's when we know what's true and what's not. If a relationship can stand the harshest conditions, then it really is something worth keeping. If a guy loves you when everything's going well, and loves you even more when things fall apart. That's when you know you made the right choice in choosing him.

First year of Grad school - *check*!

That's riiigghhhttt... my first year of grad school is DOWN! Well, I guess in all technicality, not really.. because this summer still counts as the first year. But I am adamant to be positive, and keep the summer looking like a 'holiday'.. when it really won't be. Statistics, Counseling and School Methods class along with a full clinic load - that's what June and July and August will look like.

But before that... Lim family vacation! :) That's right.

Fourth Stop: 

Los Angeles 

Fifth Stop: 

San Francisco to see these two monkeys! 

Sixth stop: 

Cindy's graduation. And reunion with Aunty Susan! 

And finally.. back to Lafayette, Indiana. 

Then... 

Harry Potter World in Orlando, Florida. 

I'm going to be so so broke once vacation is over. Have yet to find a job for the summer. Sigh. 

Hopefully this vacation reduces my night-time teeth grinding, and hair falling.
