Oh Jeez, show's Saturday!

Yeah.
Show's on Saturday.
My last Fusion.
Last last last Fusion ever!

Should stop talking about it, it's all I think about now.
Program books, posters, advertising, my Chinese dance, Filipino tinikling, dance costumes... etc.
It's consuming my thoughts. Seriously, very nerve-wrecking.

Things are good. It's almost the end of the 2nd week of school but feels like it's been a lot longer. Kinda crazy. Getting used to the new schedule of waking up at 7am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to go to work and open up and prep the deli has been slightly exhausting. It's nice working on my own though. Especially in the mornings. It's nicer when someone wakes up just as early as you do, sometimes earlier and drives over to give you a ride to work. That means I don't have to wake up extra early to get ready and walk in the freezing cold.
I'm taking a social dance class this year. Another step on my own that I'm happy I took. I was nervous about how big the class would be, dancing with random boys, not getting picked to dance by boys, not being able to keep up with the dance steps, you know.. the sorts. But it's a great and easy class. Plus plus, my dance teacher used to be Black Ranger I think, of Power Rangers. Isn't that NUTS!! haha. *step step, rock step step* Ah, I love that class! Except the part when I don't get chosen to dance with the first time because the class has more girls than boys. And also the part when I have to dance with the most awkward boys of the class. *step step rockstep step* -stare awkwardly at him because we're not supposed to stare at our feet- then stare above his head coz he's shorter than me- feel bad that I'm staring above his head so I look at the teacher- occasionally I look back and smile at him- all the while thinking to myself how awkward it is to be holding his hand and supposed "waltzing" with him-
Chinese independent study this semester has been somewhat of a bundle of nerves for me because I feel like I'm so behind on Chinese compared to the other 2 american students I'm doing the study with. I don't know political terms like "political movement", "democracy", "protest" in Chinese and we're reading an article on China's Modernization now. o_O scary. Next week, we're going to have to read newspaper articles on the spot. Watch me stumble through going Umm Umm and not being able to translate what I'm reading. Just watch me. Still, it's a challenge. Definitely glad I was brave enough to do it.

Okay, gotta go. Pictures of Fusion up the next time! Woooohhhooooo wish me luck!
