Doing it the traditional way...

Chinese calligraphy is sooo difficult! I just had my first Chinese calligraphy class today. And boy was it difficult. After awhile, I could just feel my right hand cramping up and getting cold and clammy from holding the brush in that one specific way that we are supposed to. Then we have to sit with our backs straight, and hold the brush as upright as possible. Since this was our first class, we only practiced the different strokes of Chinese characters. That itself was already a challenge. Having to put pressure only on certain points of that one stroke... Aaah so difficult! Takes a whole lot of patience and attention to detail, and control of your hand muscles.
Even though I'm complaining a little, just a little.. it was rather fun.

I had the best lunch snack today... red bean bun and pumpkin bread.
Definitely gonna have it again tomorrow. I am such a wai sek chu. *sigh* I can't help it. Everything tastes too good. Good food = a very happy, very satisfied Suling.. ;D Hence, she eats more of that good food.
