A Village in Beijing
Last week, before going to Qingdao, PKU's Foreign Chinese Language Program students got the opportunity to visit a village in Beijing for a day. I wouldn't really say that the village we went to was a 'real China village'. They obviously brought us to one of the better villages. Still, it was an interesting experience. My class went to DaXing 大兴. My 2 fav places that we visited in the village: the primary school and one of the houses in the village that we had a home-made dinner at.
This is my Reading Class... 汉语十四班。I have classmates from all over the world... Chile, Italy, Poland, Germany and Japan... We fit in together so well too.
This is the primary school that we visited.
And the classroom that we visited. We sat in there for a 'lesson' for 45 minutes. It was awesome!
And then, autograph signing time..! ;D Yeah, all the kids went around asking for our autographs. They gave us lil handmade cards too, to welcome us to their class.
And.. this is half of the dishes that we had for dinner in the village house. All homecooked food!
